UC Berkeley - Go Bears! 25+ years at Oracle Corporation, technical field ranging from product development to product release management. Grew up on 6502 on an Apple II. Worked on pen plotters (8088 assembly).
Most complex builds to date:
Arduino-controlled pen plotter from a scavenged flatbed scanner
Arduino (both Uno and Mega2560) 2732a EPROM programmer.
Washington University at St Louis - Brookings Hall logo in 3D on Shopbot using VCarve and Tinkercad
6x6x6 LED cube mounted on PCB board, isolation-engraved using CNC 3040 and Target 3001, driven by separate isolation-engraved PCBs and Arduino. (3 versions so far.)
Current: Defender arcade restore, multicade build, SMD boards using isolation engraving, experimenting with 3d scanning with Xbox 360 Kinect, replicating Jim's laser interferometer with a Spectra Physics 155.
Though my "home space" is listed as Sacramento (midtown), I actually spend the majority of my HackerLab time at Rocklin.
